Texas A&M's High Performance Research Computing is hosting a series of talks and special events May 20-23, 2024 to showcase the A&M community’s work in computing and data-intensive research. 

Keynote talks will be given by Katy Antypas, Director of the National Science Foundation's Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure, Richard Gerber, Senior Science Advisor at the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratoryand Sandra Gesing, Executive Director of the US Research Software Engineer Association (US-RSE). Training workshops will be offered on computational tools for research in addition to local and national speakers presenting talks and posters about best practices in computing and data intensive research, and national perspectives on building cyberinfrastructure capacity in the U.S.

Workshops will be on May 20-21. Workshop registration will open soon.  

You are invited and encouraged to participate as a speaker or poster presenter to share your computationally challenging research with the TAMU research computing community. Just indicate on the registration form that you would like to give a talk or present a poster. Slots are limited so register early!

A banquet and poster session will be held on May 22, 5:00-7:00pm. Please plan to attend!

Open call for Posters and Talks
Posters and Talks should highlight original research performed on Texas A&M's High Performance Research Computing systems (HPRC).  Research performed on FASTER and ACES is strongly encouraged.     

Poster information: If you are interested in presenting a poster about your research during the banquet on Wednesday, May 22nd, 5-7pm, please provide a title and author list in the appropriate field below.
Posters should be approximately 32"x48", portrait or landscape orientation. Posters will be printed for those who submit a properly formatted pdf by Friday May 10th, 2024.

Talk information: If you are interested in giving a lightning talk, please provide a title in the appropriate field below. If you are interested in giving a 30 minute talk (including Q&A), please provide a title and short description (paragraph) in the appropriate field below.

Notification of acceptance for a poster or talk will be sent no later than Friday, April 26 2024.
