Description: Liberal Arts International Teaching Assistants (LAITA) meet once per month over lunch to discuss challenges they grapple with, to hear strategies, and to support one another. At this first meeting, participants will explore the topics of credibility, authority, and authenticity, led by experienced educators and scholars Dr. Hoi-eun Kim and Xueyan Hu. This event is open to international graduate students in the College of Liberal Arts, especially those with teaching duties. The LAITA lunch series is co-sponsored by the Center for Teaching Excellence and the College of Liberal Arts. Lunch is provided.
